Chocolate Party Themes
Who doesn’t love chocolate? Whatever your age or stage of life, chocolate seems to have a universal language. The sweet gooey taste is simply irresistible and therefore many people flock to for a nice little pick me up each and every day. It also happens to make a perfect theme for a party. Never thought of having a chocolate party? You can really have fun with this type of theme, and the only requirement is to feature chocolate as the centerpiece of the special day.
Everything Chocolate Party
If you are a chocolate lover or happen to know a lot of chocolate lovers, then an “everything chocolate” party is a perfect way to get together. You can get all of the invited guests into the act and spirit by asking them to bring their own favorite chocolate dish to pass. You want to get creative here and ensure that you serve up chocolate beverages, unique chocolate foods such as chocolate cheese, and of course that you feature plates and decorations that are all about the chocolate.
This can be a lot of fun as you can create centerpieces out of chocolate and really get carried away with dishes that feature chocolate as one of the main ingredients. Go for a chocolate mole chicken dish that uses the star ingredient in a unique way!
Chocolate Fondue Party
Oh there’s nothing like fondue—especially when it’s all in chocolate! This is really easy to set up as the host because all you have to do is get a couple of fondue pots to melt the chocolate in. You most definitely want to have at least one pot with milk chocolate and one pot with dark chocolate.
If you have more fondue pots and imagination, you can get creative and go for chocolate turtle mixes, “S’More” mixes, and anything else that you can think of that goes well with chocolate. Then you simply put out all your favorite dippers such as graham crackers, strawberries, banana, marshmallow, pretzels, and pound cake. It’s simple to set up and host, but creates plenty of delicious fun for all of your guests!
