Planning a Baby Shower
A typical baby shower takes place in the afternoon, though this is somewhat flexible. For instance, if the parents know the baby’s sex but haven’t announced it yet, have guests take a guess and write it on a slip of paper. Create a Keepsake Scrapbook
Be sure to keep one blank invitation, some streamers/bits of wrapping paper, smaller wall decorations and other items aside. Then buy an inexpensive photo album and arrange the tidbits inside, along with commentary in the margins. You can also print off pages with explanations, the list of guests that attended and other notable happenings related to the shower, and enclose them in the album. The guest of honor will love it – and so one day will baby-to-be!
